This was the final seminar presentation in the Department of Political Economy’s seminar series for the second semester of 2015.
This occasion it was Benjamin Selwyn (University of Sussex) presenting on his new book The Global Development Crisis.
The book engages some of the most important political economists of the last two centuries – Friedrich List, Karl Marx, Leon Trotsky, Joseph Schumpeter, Alexander Gerschenkron, Karl Polanyi and Amartya Sen – to argue for a labour-centred conception of development.
